The warm welcome and superb service from the staff. The concept of conserving the coral reefs and the diverse sea life is highly commendable and admirable. It is always a welcome sight to behold especially upon waking up in the morning. It is very quiet and serene and has a very exclusive ambiance. A great place to commune with nature.

The food was a bit pricey. The island tour hopping needs to meet a minimum number of pax.

We loved pretty much everything. It was a slice of paradise. The two beaches were beautiful and the pool was massive and deep and super clean. The restaurant was great with tasty and varied food. You can even buy cigars and premium spirits there! Staff were great and very warm. There were buggys to help you get around the island. Breakfast was awesome also.

WARNING: do not try to get there from El Nido in the same day unless you can catch a flight to Coron! We took the ferry and it was very stressful as we got in late and only just made our transfer as it was getting dark. If coming from El Nido by ferry it may be best to stay on Coron Town the night before or even at the Sunlight hotel in Coron for an easy transfer. A major minus was the lack of communication when arranging the transfer, several calls unanswered and multiple emails ignored! (But once you are there the staff are great). Note we were there late Feb but I heard in April and Dec there are large groups going to island and it can get busy (when we were there in Feb we felt like we had the island to ourselves).

Food was diverse and decent. Staff was very accommodating.

Island was infested with flies and for a resort that calls itself echo, was a bit perplexed that they serve plastic straws. Snorkling was restricted to small area. Bikes were rundown and need to be replaced.

It was much nicer than expected. We thought it was a resort attached to the mainland until we got onto the boat! The snorkeling was the best cause nobody was there and none of the coral was destroyed. Everything was perfectly intact. Room service was great. The fresh seafood you can order was great. The sunrise view was amazing. The island hopping tour guides were great. Everything staff member says good morning to make you feel welcome.

We couldn’t ride any of the bicycles cause they all had almost flat tires. It would have been nice to ride some bikes down the nice paths. They could use some tables and chairs on the south beach to place all our snorkeling gear onto when taking a break and hanging. out. We heard the karaoke is going to be expensive when it’s finished being built

Food. Their buffet are mostly cheap Chinese food for 1k pesos per pax. They Seriously need to hire reputable chef. Food preparations doesn't follow HACCP. Also you need to change your chafing dishes to electric because food is always cold due to wind. The resort has a great potential. Also be careful because I can see cans of paints and some construction material on the beach.

The facilities are nice such as spacious villas just at the sea, big infinity pool, own beach. All staff except the front desk was exceptionally friendly.

The main annoyance was food. They had limited options over cooked buffets for lunch and dinner. If asked about a la carte, the front desk staff was not encouraging to order it. We however insisted and eventually it was possible if prebooked several hours in advance. Despite prebooking the food often arrived cold and overcooked. Since this is a small remote island there are no other food options nearby, the hotel has potato ships in their shop which saved us many times. Also the ambience was not nice in the restaurants as loud disco music was played at all times from breakfast to dinner.

You are in a private island, with beautiful views and the most amazing sea. You wake up with a beautiful landscape, right next to the water. What else can you expect?! Room was very good. Staff was super welcome and always willing to help you.

Please remove all the colorful flags along the beach. Those flags block the view from the pool and also have a bad impact on photography.

We stayed here for 3 nights. From the time we set our foot from busuanga airport the sunlight van drivers were very accomodating help us with the baggages and give infos on the road about coron. Then transfer from sunlight coron to sunlight island boat drivers and assistant were also very welcoming.transfers are free of charge. All of them welcome us with a smile on their faces. There are golf carts to brjng you wherever you want to go. Lots of corals. Beach is great in the morning. 2 pools 1 pool for adult and another for kids both were super clean. Tours offered are great. Lots of food selection in the restaurant and were superb. Rooms are cleaned daily they replenish everything that you will be needing. Lots of activities to choose from especially for us that we have kids. The best part of our stay is the people of sunlight island resort! They treat us like family they always go extra mile extending help even without being asked! Staying here is worth every penny. Will surely comeback. Location is great, on a private island, however also quite prohibitive as tours can only be booked for 6 people minimum - as a couple we were informed that we could only tour by paying for 6 people. Boat travel is also privatised and expensive if you wish to leave the island. Construction ongoing in certain parts of the island
